📚 Book Worth Reading: Sisterhood Heals by Dr. Joy Harden Bradford. If you need a reminder that your circle matters, this book is it! Grab it, read it, and then call that one friend you’ve been dodging.

🎁 Random Gem: I found a candle that smells like “paid bills and peace of mind.” It’s called Cashmere & Clarity, and it’s worth every dime.

Family Gossip :

Now, I ain’t one to gossip (yes, I am), but let’s talk about cousin Dee Dee. Y’all… she done got a third job. Not because she needs the money, but because she got tired of her nosy coworkers at the other two jobs. When I tell you that’s a level of petty I aspire to? Whew!

Also, my mama called me again about a man she saw at church that she swears is “just perfect” for me. First of all, why do all church men wear too much cologne and three-piece suits in July? I told her to let the Lord work, and I’d check back in December.

Verressa’s Wisdom Moment

Listen, life is like my Aunt Nettie’s wig – sometimes it shifts unexpectedly, and you gotta adjust before you embarrass yourself. So, whatever you’re going through, hold your head up, take a deep breath, and remember: You’ve survived all your worst days so far. Ain’t no reason to stop now!
