Design the Life You Want to Live Let me tell you something, child...

Too many people wake up each morning and put on a life like it’s a uniform someone else laid out for them. Pressed and polished. Looks respectable. But it itches at the skin. It don’t fit right. It was never made for them.

They go to the job. Smile through the meeting. Pay the bills. Raise the children. And somewhere in the quiet corners of their day... they whisper to themselves:

“Maybe next year I’ll write that book. Maybe when the kids are grown I’ll start the business. Maybe one day...”

But one day isn’t a day on the calendar.

You see, we were taught early to be what’s safe, not what’s sacred. To be what’s expected, not what’s expressed. And that’s how dreams begin to die — not from lack of talent, but from too much permission-seeking.

But let me remind you of something: You came into this world with fingerprints no one else has. A rhythm, a vision, a voice that was never meant to blend in quietly.

You were never meant to fit in a life. You were meant to design one.

Ask Yourself This Who taught you that what you want isn’t as valuable as what others expect?

Who said you had to earn your right to joy?

If you don’t start designing your life, beloved, someone else will draft it for you—and they won’t mind if you never feel fulfilled.

Mindset Minute There is deep, holy power in giving yourself permission. Permission to begin. Permission to be seen. Permission to disappoint those who only loved the version of you that kept them comfortable.

This Week’s Challenge Take 30 minutes this week to write out what your ideal day would look like.

Not the one you think you can afford. Not the one that would “make sense.” The one that would make you sing inside.

Write it in detail. Where do you wake up? Who’s with you? What do you do first? What kind of work are you doing? How do you feel?

Because that vision? That’s not a fantasy. That’s a blueprint.

You already have the keys. The door is waiting.
