From Mama’s Chair

Stop waiting to be ready. Just be willing.”

Let me talk to you for a moment, sugar.

So many of us are standing at the edge of something beautiful…
but refusing to move because we think we need more.

More time.
More money.
More support.
More experience.
More courage.

But here’s the truth Mama had to learn the hard way:

You already have enough to begin.

That vision tugging on you? That whisper in the middle of the night?
It’s not asking you to have it all figured out.
It’s just asking you to say yes to right now.

Mama’s Storytime :

Start Where You Are, With What You Have

Let me take you back.

There was a season — and I mean a whole season — where I felt like I was standing still while the rest of the world kept on moving.

Folks around me were launching businesses, writing books, getting featured in magazines, and glowing up on timelines.
And me? I was sitting at a creaky kitchen table with a cheap spiral notebook, a half-used pen, and a heart full of stories I didn’t know if anyone would care about.

But let me tell you what I did have:

  • I had time. Not hours and hours — but enough to give myself ten honest minutes a day.

  • I had a voice that had been quiet for too long.

  • I had a little courage — not loud, not flashy, but still breathing.

  • And I had a choice: to sit in stillness or write my way forward.

So I did what I could.
Every morning, I poured my tea, opened that $1 notebook, and wrote something.
A sentence.
A memory.
A prayer.
A piece of myself I hadn’t touched in years.

And baby — those pages became my resurrection.

I didn’t have a fancy planner. I didn’t have a logo.
I didn’t even know what I was building — I just knew I had to begin.
Because if I didn’t start right there, in the middle of my messy, everyday life…
I might never start at all.

And you know what happened?

Somewhere between the 17th cup of tea and the 40th page in that notebook…
I found my voice again.
I found me again.

Not the version people expected.
Not the polished, picture-perfect version.
But the real me — raw, wise, weathered, and willing.

And baby… willing beats ready every single time.

If you’re waiting on fancy equipment, more money, or for someone to validate your vision — stop.

Use what you got.
Where you are.
With the breath still in your body and the truth still in your bones.

Because that little notebook on my kitchen table?
It turned into a movement.

And so can your beginning.

Mama’s Soulwork:

What dream have you been delaying — waiting for the “right” time?

Now ask yourself:

  • What can I do with what I already have?

  • Who can I become by simply beginning?

  • What small step could shift everything this week?

Write it down. One page. One sentence. One act of boldness.

Top Publishers Hand-Selecting Amazon Brands to Promote this Holiday Season

This holiday season, top publishers are actively sourcing brands to include in their gift guides, newsletters, listicles, reviews, and more to drive high-intent shoppers straight to Amazon storefronts.

Here’s why it matters:

  • Amazon brands are seeing a 5:1 conversion rate compared to their DTC site

  • Millions of shoppers discover products through trusted publishers

Levanta is working directly with these publishers to introduce them to a small number of 7–9 figure brands.

If you qualify, your products could be featured in high-traffic placements that deliver predictable CAC and directly measurable sales.

Charlie Hustle’s Tip of the Week:

“You don’t need more stuff — you need more start.

Charlie says:
Stop researching. Stop planning. Stop waiting for a “sign.”
Do the thing. Scrappy and scared if you have to — just DO it.

That Canva you halfway finished? Post it.
That email you keep editing? Send it.
That business you keep talking about? Claim it.

“Start messy. Start broke. Start uncertain. But for God’s sake… start.

Mama’s Final Word:

You were never meant to have it all figured out.
You were just meant to begin in faith.

So today — not next week, not someday —
Start where you are.
With what you have.
And trust that what you need will meet you on the journey.

Because baby…
ain’t nothing more powerful than a made-up mind.

With fire, focus, and a little notebook wisdom,
